After the degree in Medicinal Chemistry, in 1997 Orazio Taglialatela-Scafati received the Ph.D. in “Pharmacologically Active Natural Products” under the supervision of prof. Fattorusso. In 2002, he was Visiting Research Chemist at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, in the lab of prof. Raymond Andersen. Since 1999, he works at the Faculty of Pharmacy of University of Naples, where his current position is Associate Professor of Organic Chemistry.Orazio Taglialatela-Scafati is the author of about 70 papers on international scientific journals and 2 international patents. In addition, he is the co-Editor of two books: “Flavour and Fragrance Chemistry” for Kluwer Academic Publishers, and “Modern Alkaloids.” for Wiley-VCH.
